Title sponsor extends with Kentucky’s Sprint Cup race

Motor oil company Quaker State has agreed a deal to extend its title sponsorship of the Nascar Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway through 2018.

The 400-mile event will continue to be known as the Quaker State 400 throughout the course of the deal.

The company will also benefit from branding on the retaining walls and start/finish line of the Kentucky Speedway.

Quaker State has been title sponsor of the annual event since its launch in 2011 and the new deal will ensure the continuation of this partnership.

“The Quaker State 400 has continued to deliver incredible experiences to our customers and race fans as well as tremendous visibility for our brand over the first three years of the relationship with Kentucky Speedway,” Quaker State’s vice-president of marketing, Rusty Barron, said.

The 2014 edition of the Quaker State 400 will take place at Kentucky Speedway’s 1.5-mile tri-oval track on June 28.
