German sportswear giant Adidas has extended its long-term partnership with THW Kiel, which plays in the country’s Handball Bundesliga top-tier domestic club competition.
The deal will run for five seasons, from 2017-18 until 2021-22.
Under the extended agreement, Adidas will continue to manufacture and supply the team’s playing kit.
Adidas, whose existing deal had been due to expire after the upcoming 2016-17 campaign, has been a partner of THW Kiel for more than 50 years.
The 2016-17 Handball Bundesliga season will commence on September 3.
