European mainland train operator Thalys has agreed to become an official partner of the International Ice Hockey Federation’s 2017 World Championship.
The national team event will be co-hosted by Cologne, Germany and the French capital Paris.
Thalys operates in both host nations, along with Belgium and the Netherlands. It will aid transport arrangements for the competition.
The 2015 IIHF World Championship is currently ongoing in the Czech cities of Prague and Ostrava.
