TeamSnap picks up Penguins deal

Recreational and amateur sports team management app TeamSnap has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with NHL ice hockey team Pittsburgh Penguins through the 2015-16 season.

TeamSnap will serve as a sponsor of the Penguins and Penguins Hockey Development throughout the course of the agreement, integrating its services into the franchise’s efforts across youth and grassroots hockey.

Pittsburgh Penguins director of corporate sales Robbie Hofmann said: “We are thrilled about our partnership with TeamSnap. Their unparalleled team management services will be a great new offering for our various youth hockey initiatives.”

The sponsorship will provide TeamSnap with various branding opportunities, both online and offline, with a particular focus on the Penguins grassroots hockey initiatives, camps and skill development programmes held across the Pittsburgh market.
