Telecommunications provider T-Mobile has reached a deal to become an official partner to the Austrian Football Association (OFB).
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the partnership will commence with Austria’s highly anticipated 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifying match against neighbours Germany in Munich this weekend.
Germany currently sits top of the European Group C qualifying table, five points ahead of Austria.
Through its partnership with the OFB, T-Mobile is offering 100 roaming minutes for fans travelling to the World Cup finals in Brazil next summer. This figure will be doubled to 200 minutes should Austria qualify for the tournament.
Additionally, T-Mobile will engage with fans through a range of initiatives, starting with the opportunity to win tickets for the sold-out home World Cup qualifier against Ireland on September 10 through its official Facebook page for the Austria national team.
