Queensland Rugby League, the governing body of the sport in the Australian state of Queensland, has extended its partnership with domestic finance, insurance and banking corporation Suncorp.
Under the deal, the terms of which were undisclosed, the Suncorp logo will appear on the front of Queensland State of Origin players’ jerseys from 2015.
The new agreement will extend a partnership that stretches back 12 years.
Peter Betros, chairman of the Queensland Rugby League, said: “A key focus for rugby league in Queensland is contributing to community and Suncorp’s desire to assist us beyond the Origin arena will ensure our community reach continues to grow right across the state and beyond.”
