STS renews shirt deal with high-flying Ekstraklasa club Jagiellonia

Poland’s leading bookmaker STS has renewed as the main shirt sponsor of Polish top-flight Ekstraklasa club Jagiellonia Białystok until June 2021.

STS has been the football club’s main sponsor and official bookmaker since July 2017.

Under the deal, STS will get branding on LED perimeter advertising boards and on interview backdrops. It will also get content rights on the club’s website and social media.

As a bespoke part of the deal, STS will organise a special fan zone during selected matches and offer special bets for matches involving the club.

STS is also a sponsor of the Polish national football team in a deal from August 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022. The deal was signed with the Polish Football Association (PZPN) in March last year.

Mateusz Juroszek, president of STS, said the contracts with Jagiellonia Bialystok and PZPN were of strategic importance to the brand. “After signing the first contract with the club, we noticed a dynamic increase in the number of players not only in Bialystok or Podlasie region, but across the country,” he said.

Jagiellonia Białystok has finished second in the Ekstraklasa for the last two seasons and currently lies in fifth place this season.
