Sporting Index signs up to ABP scheme

UK betting company Sporting Index has agreed a deal to become an authorised betting partner of the British Horseracing Authority.

Sporting Index, which specialises in sports spread betting, has signed a three-year deal to support British racing until at least March 31, 2019.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sporting Index has confirmed that the company’s existing remote betting operations are currently in line with the BHA’s scheme.

Should Sporting Index move any part of its operations outside of the UK over the course of the agreement, the company has agreed to make voluntary contributions to British racing as part of the terms of the scheme.

Sporting Index will be granted the use of a BHA kitemark across assets, and will also benefit from central promotion through media campaigns, discussions on the composition of the fixture list and access to an account manager resource within racing.
