Retail gas brand 76 has extended its role as the presenting sponsor of the Pac-12 college sport conference’s American football championship game.
Originally announced as the first ever presenting sponsor of the Pac-12 title game in 2016, 76 will now continue in this role through the 2019 edition.
In addition to serving as presenting sponsor of the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, the Pac-12 and 76 also collaborated on fan promotions throughout the Bay Area and West Coast leading up to this year’s event, which saw the Washington Huskies defeat the Utah Utes 10-3 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Friday.
The plan also included 76 as presenting sponsor of football programming on Pac-12 Networks, including ‘The Pregame’ this season as the new hour-long pregame show travelled to all 12 campuses this year.
Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said: “76 is a leading brand and has been a fantastic marketing partner for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, helping to drive interest and excitement around the game through their retail, television and online promotions.”
