Speedway Motorsports signs rideshare partner

Speedway Motorsports, which operates a number of racetracks in North America, has entered into a partnership with crowd-powered travel company Rally.

Under the multi-year agreement, Rally will serve as the official bus rideshare partner of Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway (pictured), Kentucky Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Sonoma Raceway and Texas Motor Speedway.

Fans will be able to use Rally’s service to travel to and from racing events, with the company’s high-end buses featuring cushioned seats, video screens, restrooms and the ability to bring coolers aboard.

The service will be available to individuals and groups of fans, with customisable routes available in cities surrounding tracks. Discount pricing will be offered for fans who register early for rides.

“As our company's service continues to expand, we found Speedway Motorsports to be a perfect partner with which to build on our footprint in the sporting world," Numaan Akram, founder and chief executive of Rally, said. "Rally believes that we can do more as a group than as individuals, whether it's reinventing the future of bus transportation or getting to something as exciting as a Nascar race."
