Spain enters World Handball Championship with new sponsors

The Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) has agreed new sponsorship deals with airline Iberia and Costa de Almería, the coastal municipalities of the province of Andalusia.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed, but the two new sponsors have signed up ahead of the men’s World Championship, which is being co-hosted by Germany and Denmark and gets underway today (Thursday).

Spain, the reigning European champion, has been drawn alongside Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Iceland, Bahrain and Japan in Group B.

It will commence its campaign with a game against Bahrain in Munich’s Olympiahalle tomorrow (Friday).
