Australian Football League team Brisbane Lions has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with gym chain Snap Fitness.
As the team’s official membership partner, Snap Fitness’s logo will appear on all Lions membership collateral including membership packs, cards and apparel. The deal covers the Lions’ AFL and AFL women’s teams
Lions chief executive Greg Swann said: “In 2019 our membership tally of 28,821 hit a 14-year high, so it’s fitting we have signed our first membership partner in five years.”
Snap Fitness was founded in the US in 2003, and now operates in markets around the world, including a well-established chain of franchises in Australia. Asia-Pacific chief executive Ty Menzies said: “With Snap Fitness’s national footprint, and a national consumer base with the Brisbane Lions we have a great opportunity to support each other’s growth strategy, nationwide.”
