National Women’s Soccer League team Sky Blue FC has announced New Jersey-based healthcare organisation Meridian Health as its title sponsor for the 2014 season.
Under the terms of the deal, Meridian Health will become the main shirt sponsor of its local NWSL team, along with providing treatment to its players.
Sky Blue FC finished fourth in the NWSL’s inaugural 2013 season and is due to kick-off its 2014 campaign with a trip to face FC Kansas City on Saturday.
