The Skechers Performance division of US footwear brand Skechers has agreed a deal to continue as the title sponsor of the Los Angeles Marathon.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that this year’s race on March 19 will retain the title, the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon.
Skechers Performance will continue integrated marketing and communications programming in the months leading up to the event, as well as promote its brand along the course during the race.
In addition, to mark the extension, Skechers Performance will launch ‘GRONULA’, a new global marketing initiative that will offer the firm’s international partners the opportunity to take part in the race with a VIP experience.
