Singha becomes MotoGP’s first beer partner

The MotoGP motorcycling championship has signed a multi-year deal with Singha making the Thai brand its first-ever official beer partner.

Under the deal signed with MotoGP’s commercial rights-holder Dorna Sports, Singha will have exclusive pouring rights to provide beer to fans at MotoGP events in specific territories, whilst the Thai beer will also be served at European rounds in the MotoGP VIP Village in 2014, except for those events held in Spain.

The agreement will also see Singha branding featured prominently at key corners of world championship circuits, providing extensive television exposure.

Voravud Bhirombhakdi, director of event marketing and business partnership for Singha, said: “Our vision is to become a global beer brand and this partnership will create brand exposure globally through speed, technology and innovation.”
