Costa Rican cryptocurrency mining company Avalon Life has agreed a deal for its Green Earth corporate social responsibility project to continue as the main shirt sponsor of Spanish LaLiga football club Real Betis.
The deal will run through to the end of the 2017-18 season, with the Green Earth logo to remain on the front of Betis players' shirts.
Green Earth began its support of Real Betis earlier this year by featuring its logo on players' shirts during pre-season matches in Germany.
Avalon Life launched the Green Earth project as part of an effort to help preserve the environment in Costa Rica.
Green Earth’s remit has since been extended to other countries in South America, Asia and Africa.
