Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football club Santos has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with consumer electronics company SEMP.
The one-year deal will result in SEMP’s branding featuring on the sleeve of Santos’ shirts.
The company served as the club’s main sponsor for three years from 2007 and its branding also featured on the chest area of the team’s jerseys during last month’s Copa Libertadores match against Colombian team Santa Fe.
SEMP will replace wire and cable manufacturer SIL as Santos’ sleeve sponsor. It will join Caixa, Algar and thinkseg as having branding on the club’s shirt. The agreement began with Santos' 1-0 win over Palmeiras on Wednesday.
