Danish ball manufacturer Select Sport has signed a partnership with the European Handball Federation.
The agreement, which was brokered by the governing body’s commercial arm, EHF Marketing, will run for four seasons, from 2016-17 to 2019-20.
Select Sport will provide the official ball for all of the EHF’s top competitions including the Champions League, Women’s Champions League, men’s and Women’s EHF Cup and the EHF European Championships.
“Select has a long history in handball and a real passion for the sport, which is reflected in the quality of its products,” EHF president Jean Brihault said. “This new partnership will offer not only the best possible playing conditions in top competitions but also the opportunity in the coming years for further product development and innovation on the handball market.”
