The International Handball Federation has agreed a partnership with the Nordic branch of the banking group Santander ahead of the 2015 Women’s Handball World Championships.
Santander will become the official event partner for the Championships, which will take place in Denmark from December 5-20.
Bo Jakobsen, chief executive of Santander Consumer Bank Denmark, said: “We are confident that we found one of the best opportunities with this cooperation on the World Championships to get in contact and start up dialogues with both our existing and new customers.
“World Cup 2015 will help strengthen awareness of Santander Consumer Bank both locally and at a Nordic level and is therefore a perfect partner for us – both communicatively and commercially.”
