The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) and the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) have confirmed Spanish medical company Sanitas as a national supporter of the 2014 Basketball World Cup.
Under the agreement, Sanitas will provide the tournament with its medical services and expertise.
Sanitas has a presence across a number of high-profile sporting properties including Spanish Liga football team Real Madrid and Spain’s national basketball team.
It joins travel agency Halcon Viajes, non-profit insurance company Mutua and telecommunications group Vodafone as national supporters of Fiba’s flagship event, which takes place from August 30 to September 14 in Spain.
