San Pellegrino refreshes DP World Tour Championship’s commercial roster

Italian beverage company San Pellegrino has agreed a deal to become an official supplier for the 2013 DP World Tour Championship, the season finale of golf’s European Tour.

For the first time the company’s brands, S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will be supporters of the $8m (€5.88m) tournament, which is the final round of the European Tour’s Race to Dubai and will be staged on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 14-17.

Distributed in over 120 countries through branches and distributors on all five continents, S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna are international trademarks of the Milan-based San Pellegrino Company.

As part of the agreement, San Pellegrino will provide over 70,000 bottles of S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna and also San Pellegrino sparkling fruit beverages for all the players, officials, caddies, tournament staff and media as well as in the tournament’s corporate hospitality facilities.
