US-based Stanford Health Care has extended and expanded its partnership with Major League Soccer’s San Jose Earthquakes.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Stanford Health Care will become a founding partner of the club’s new stadium, which is due to be completed in time for the 2015 season.
The company will also continue to serve as the team’s official physicians and provide specialist medical care to players.
In addition, Stanford Health Care will serve as the title sponsor of one game in order to raise awareness for certain medical condition. The organisation and club previously linked up to host Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
