London-based Heathrow Airport has agreed a deal to become an official provider of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Under the agreement, Heathrow will serve as an official tournament provider to this year’s edition of the national team rugby union competition, which takes place in England and Wales from September 18 to October 31.
World Rugby, the global governing body for rugby union and owner of the tournament, expects the majority of the 500,000 anticipated overseas fans and participating teams to arrive in the UK via Heathrow Airport.
Heineken, Land Rover, Societe Generale, DHL, Emirates and MasterCard are the top-tier worldwide partners of England 2015.
