The Rugby Canada national governing body has renewed its sponsorship deal with global equity, foreign exchange and precious metals broker Velocity Trade.
Under the new two-year deal, Velocity Trade will retain its position as a signature partner of Canada Rugby and official partner of Canada’s men’s sevens team.
The company’s branding will feature on the front of the team’s shirts on nine of the 10 legs of the World Rugby Sevens Series. Its logo will appear on the back of the team’s shorts during the Vancouver leg of the series.
The 2017-18 World Rugby Sevens Series gets underway in Dubai on December 1 and Canada’s round will be held in Vancouver from March 10-11. Velocity Trade first partnered with Rugby Canada ahead of the 2016-17 series.
