Golf’s European Tour has renewed its partnership with audit, tax and consulting firm RSM.
The deal names RSM as an official supporter of the European Tour for the next year, with the firm to sponsor the 2018 BMW PGA Championship as part of the agreement.
RSM first linked up with the Tour in 2016. The new deal will focus on behind-the-scenes vignettes highlighting key personalities and roles on the Tour. The six-part ‘Inside the Tour’ series will launch next month and conclude in November.
The two parties will also work together on the ‘Winning Formula’ content strand, a weekly initiative that will help portray the key performance metrics of the previous week’s winner. It will be released in social media infographic form and via an interactive piece on EuropeanTour.com.
RSM also sponsors European Tour players Andy Sullivan, Paul Lawrie and Paul Waring.
This year’s BMW PGA Championship takes place at Wentworth in Surrey from May 24-27. Sweden’s Alex Noren is the defending champion.
