National infrastructure and services company RheinEnergie has extended a sponsorship deal with the Cologne Sharks, from German ice hockey’s top-tier DEL, to a 16th consecutive year.
RheinEnergie branding will continue to appear on the front of players’ jerseys throughout the 2014-15 season.
The extended deal will enable RheinEnergie, which began its partnership with the club in 1999, to continue to promote its energy and water utility services for the Cologne and Rhine region.
Cologne Sharks lost 4-3 to ERC Ingolstadt in the 2013-14 DEL play-off final.
