The Rugby Football Union, the governing body of English rugby union, has entered into a partnership with soft drinks producer Britvic.
The four-year deal runs until 2020 and names Britvic as the official soft drinks supplier to Twickenham Stadium for all England international matches.
Under the agreement, Britvic brands such as Ballygowan water, J2O, Drench, Purdey’s and 7up will be made available for professional rugby teams, RFU events and competitions, and RFU-organised rugby development events.
Britvic will also be granted match-day brand exposure and hospitality packages as part of the deal.
“Providing the best possible experience for fans attending Twickenham Stadium on a match day is a big priority for us,” Simon Massie-Taylor, the RFU’s chief commercial officer, said.
“The new relationship with Britvic will enable us, over the coming season, to offer a broader range of beverages and allow fans to have more quality of choice when attending England matches here.”
