RFU extends development-focused CBRE partnership

The Rugby Football Union, the governing body of English rugby union, has extended its partnership with commercial property and real estate services advisor CBRE.

The company will remain an official partner of the body until December 2019. The two parties’ previous agreement, which was signed in 2014, was due to expire in 2018.

Under the new agreement, CBRE will become the title sponsor of the RFU’s All Schools programme, which aims to increase levels of participation in the sport in secondary schools.

The RFU’s rugby development director Steve Grainger said: “This commitment to the sustainability of the programme and the continued delivery of rugby and its core values will change the lives of young people across the country and together we have created a positive legacy through this innovative sport for social change programme.”
