Rexona partners with EuroBasket, Turkish national side

Unilever-owned antiperspirant brand Rexona has agreed deals to sponsor this year’s EuroBasket national team basketball tournament and the Turkish national side.

EuroBasket 2017 takes place from August 31 to September 17 in Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey.

Rexona will sponsor the Turkish national team until the end of the year.

The deals were brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency, the global media and marketing partner of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF).

As a main sponsor of the Turkish national team, Rexona will be granted the right to produce television commercials featuring players, and will also benefit from logo visibility on LED boards, on-court stickers at home matches, and meet-and-greet sessions with players.

As a sponsor of EuroBasket 2017, the company will receive key logo visibility on LED boards, a ticketing package, fan zone and social media activations, and usage of game visuals.

TBF president Hidayet Türkoğlu said that the organisation views the partnership as “the beginning of a highly productive collaboration” with Rexona.

The EuroBasket 2017 final will be played at Istanbul’s Erdem Arena on September 17.
