Red Bull Racing upgrades Citrix partnership

Formula One motor-racing team Red Bull Racing has extended and expanded its partnership with mobile services company Citrix.

The length of the new agreement, which names Citrix as an innovation partner of Red Bull Racing, was not disclosed.

The new deal grants Citrix prominent logo placement on Red Bull’s cars and apparel. The two parties will also collaborate on technical services and on-site technology showcases to demonstrate how Citrix’s solutions are used to make Red Bull more competitive.

“The relationship with Citrix provides the team with greater agility, enabling our engineers to work more effectively wherever they are in the world,” Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said. “Being able to innovate and react quickly to change is a crucial element of Formula One racing, and we see this extended relationship with Citrix as an opportunity to further support our engineers in developing greater car performance.”

Red Bull has been using Citrix's services since 2007.
