Real Madrid to name ManBetX as regional partner in Asia

Uefa Champions League winners Real Madrid are to name ManBetX as a new regional sponsor in Asia.

The deal follows a similar three-year agreement struck between ManBetX and LaLiga in August this year, also for the Asia region.

The ManBetX deal segments Real Madrid’s betting partner category: at present, Codere Apuestas holds the rights to sponsor Real Madrid’s football team within Spain, and Betfair holds the rights to sponsor Real Madrid’s basketball team.

As an overseas regional partner, ManBetX joins brands such as Saudi telco STC, Mexican beer Tecate and Nigerian beer Star, which hold sponsorship rights to Real Madrid in their respective territories.

Closer to home, regional sponsors such as CaixaBank, Codere, Coca-Cola, Solán de Cabras and Sanitas – which inked a new three-year deal with Real Madrid last week – can activate in Spain only.

In the last year, ManBetX has been on a sponsorship offensive in English and Spanish football.

In 2017, ManBetX struck a main shirt sponsor deal with Premier League club Crystal Palace.
