Fashion brand Ralph Lauren has been named as an official partner and outfitter of the PGA of America.
Under Ralph Lauren’s agreement the brand will be associated with the USPGA Championship major tournament and the United States team at the Ryder Cup for six years, through to 2020.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
In January it was announced that Ralph Lauren would provide clothing for the US team at this month’s 40th edition of the Ryder Cup – the showpiece biennial matchplay event between the USA and Europe – at Gleneagles golf course in Scotland.
Ralph Lauren has produced a Ryder Cup collection, available from its own and the PGA’s online shop, along with selected retailers.
