Qatar Airways has announced a partnership with the Qatar Stars League that will allow fans to earn air miles by attending matches in the country’s top football division.
Under the agreement, Qatar Airways becomes the flagship partner of Football Rewards, the QSL’s fan loyalty programme – with Qatar Airways Privilege Club Qmiles available to members of the scheme.
Football Rewards members purchasing tickets via the QSL’s official website can reach bronze, silver or gold membership tiers by the end of the season and redeem these for the Qatar Airways offer. Prizes such as match tickets to watch Spanish Liga giant Barcelona, which has Qatar Airways as its main sponsor, are also available.
Mansoor Al Ansari, chief operations officer for the QSL, said: “Qatar Airways are one of Qatar’s leading companies, with a strong presence in football and this agreement will give the fans yet another fantastic reason to continue to support their clubs throughout the season.”
Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
