Real estate developer Al Emadi Enterprises has extended its association with the Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club by signing a five-year sponsorship deal for the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere event.
Al Emadi Enterprises sponsored the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere – a Group 1 horse racing event reserved for two-year-old thoroughbreds that will take place on the same card as the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Paris' Longchamps Racecourse on October 6 – for the first time last year. Its new association will run until 2017.
The deal with Al Emadi Enterprises comes after QREC secured sponsorships relating to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe with French gas and oil giant Total and state-owned Qatar Petroleum International in recent days.
