Qatar Airways signs as Official Partner of Golf Australia

Qatari national carrier Qatar Airways has signed as an Official Partner of Golf Australia.

Under the three-year deal, the airline will also become the Exclusive Airline Partner of the Ladies’ Professional Golf Association (LGPA) for the annual ISPS HANDA Women’s Australian Open, which takes place in Adelaide this month.

The deal comes after the airline launched its new Canberra-Sydney-Doha route in February 2018. The company also introduced its A380 carrier on its Perth-Doha route in May 2018, and expanded its in-flight food partnership for all Australian routes with Australian celebrity chef George Calombaris.

Golf Australia is Qatar Airways’ latest addition to its growing portfolio of sport sponsorships Down Under.

Qatar Airways is currently the Official International Airline Partner of the Sydney Swans Aussie rules team, in a three-year deal that runs until the end of the 2019 Australian Football League season.
