Puma enters English cricket market with Yorkshire

English county cricket team Yorkshire has announced a three-year kit manufacturing deal with Puma.

The agreement marks the German sportswear company’s first move into the UK cricket market.

For the next three seasons, Yorkshire will be supplied with Puma match and training wear by Genesis Sports – the company’s official supplier in the UK and Ireland.

Puma’s cricket arm boasts equipment deals with a range of high-profile players, including South Africa batsman AB de Villiers and India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, while former Australia great Adam Gilchrist serves as a brand ambassador.
