PSO gets behind Pakistan Hockey Federation

Pakistan State Oil has announced a wide-ranging one-year sponsorship agreement with the Pakistan Hockey Federation which will include the launch of a team to take part in the governing body’s competitions.

PSO will act as a sponsor for a number of tournaments taking place under the auspices of the PHF throughout 2014.

Additionally, under a deal brokered by PSO managing director Amjad Parvez Janjua and PHF president and former national team captain Akhtar Rasool, PSO will establish a side to take part in these competitions.

PSO will also aim to drive grassroots participation in hockey across Pakistan through a range of initiatives.
