ProMedica sponsorship takes women’s golf majors to new financial level

ProMedica’s 10-year sponsorship of the United States Golf Association (USGA), from 2022 to 2031, signed in January, has underscored the growing value of the women’s golf majors.

The overall agreement with the healthcare organisation includes presenting partner rights to the US Women’s Open, delineating the event as the ‘US Women’s Open by ProMedica’, and is thought to be worth between $7.5m (€7.25m) and $10m per year, according to industry experts.
