Pittsburgh Steelers eat up new partnership

NFL American football franchise the Pittsburgh Steelers has agreed a multi-year partnership with food manufacturer Smith Provision.

The deal will officially commence on July 2, with Smith’s Hot Dogs designated the official hot dog of Heinz Field, and Smith’s brand Boski Kielbasa the kielbasa of the Steelers’ home stadium.

With more than 40 concession areas, Heinz Field will feature Smith’s hot dogs, Boski kielbasa, as well as several other Smith’s specialty products. Also featured in the stadium will be signage and other brand messages.

Smith’s will also become a sponsor of Steelers game broadcasts on more than 30 affiliate stations, Steelers.com website promotions, and in-game product giveaways.

Smith’s also holds a partnership with Pittsburgh’s NHL ice hockey team, the Penguins.
