Automation specialist Fanuc and furniture retailer Hofmeister have renewed their partnerships with recently relegated German Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart.
Both companies’ partnerships with the club were due to expire this summer. Terms of the renewals were not disclosed, although Stuttgart confirmed the financial conditions were not affected by the club’s relegation.
Stuttgart was relegated from the Bundesliga on Saturday after its 3-1 defeat at VfL Wolfsburg.
Stuttgart last week renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Mercedes-Benz Bank until the end of the 2018-19 season, with the financial services company committing to the club despite its impending relegation.
