Palermo brokers deal with foreign exchange trader

Italian Serie A football club Palermo has agreed a partnership with online foreign exchange trading company InstaForex.

The company has been named the club’s official global foreign exchange and binary options partner. The two-year deal will conclude at the end of the 2016-17 Serie A season.

As part of the deal, InstaForex will receive in-arena advertising at Palermo’s Stadio Renzo Barbera home arena and will also be granted ticket and hospitality privileges.

“Attracting the interest of companies operating internationally and in sectors not traditionally linked with football is a clear indication that our club is gaining stronger visibility and interest abroad,” Angelo Baiguer, Palermo’s executive manager, said.

The deal was brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency, Palermo’s marketing partner.
