US financial technology company National Funding has secured a partnership with North American MLB baseball team the San Diego Padres.
Under the agreement, the terms of which were not disclosed, National Funding will become the ‘proud small business lending partner’ of the team.
The San Diego-based company will benefit from various branding opportunities inside the team’s Petco Park ballpark, as well as invitations to various Padres events.
National Funding becomes the first financial technology investment company to enter into a partnership with an MLB franchise.
