French insurance company April Group has renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, the women’s team of French Ligue 1 football club Olympique Lyonnais.
The extended agreement will run for three seasons, from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
April Group will continue to serve as the main sponsor of the team and company branding will remain on the front of players’ jerseys in domestic games.
In addition, April Group will work with the women’s team on various marketing projects, including an online advertising campaign that will feature Lyon players.
Olympique Lyonnais Féminin is the most successful team in Division 1 Féminine, the top tier of women’s club football in France, having won the title 15 times.
The team also won the Uefa Women’s Champions League for the fourth time in 2016-17.
