Olympic Federation of Ireland lands adidas deal

German sportswear manufacturer adidas has entered into a partnership with the Olympic Federation of Ireland.

The short-term deal names adidas as the Official Team Ireland Kit Supplier for the rest of 2019. Kit will be supplied through Irish distributor McKeever Sport.

Adidas will supply training apparel, village and competition wear for Irish athletes during June’s European Games multi-sport event in Minsk, Belarus and the following month’s European Youth Olympic Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Ireland is set to send approximately 70 athletes to the European Games, which will run from June 21-30. A team of 50 Irish athletes will compete at the European Youth Olympic Festival, which is scheduled to run from July 21-27.
