Oklahoma City Thunder completes NBA jersey sponsor set with Love’s

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has expanded its partnership with the Oklahoma City Thunder by becoming the NBA basketball team’s jersey sponsor.

The new multi-year deal will place the Love’s logo on the left-chest area of the team’s jerseys, starting with tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) game against the Golden State Warriors at Chesapeake Arena.

Love’s, an Oklahoma City-based truck stop and convenience store chain, has been a partner of the Thunder since 2008 and already holds rights to the Love’s Loud City and Love’s Kiss Cam initiatives. The new partnership also includes elements to support the two parties’ business and community programmes.

The Thunder becomes the 30th and final NBA team to sign a jersey sponsor. The NBA announced in April 2016 that teams would be permitted to agree jersey sponsorship deals as part of a three-year pilot programme spanning the 2017-18 to 2019-20 seasons.
