Brazilian telecommunications company Oi has sealed a deal to become the presenting sponsor of the NBA Global Games Rio 2014 basketball match.
NBA teams Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat will play a pre-season fixture on October 11 at the HSBC Arena in Barra da Tijuca in the Brazilian city.
As presenting sponsor, Oi will benefit from visibility at events promoting the match – most notably the NBA Fan Zone on Ipanema beach – and branding on the court and throughout the arena on game day, when it will also interact with fans and offer hospitality opportunities to its customers.
The HSBC Arena also hosted the NBA Global Games during the 2013-14 pre-season with the Washington Wizards taking on the Chicago Bulls.
