The Austrian Ice Hockey Association (OEHV) has entered into a commercial agreement with online printing company Saxoprint.
The deal is effective from next month’s warm-up matches for the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship.
As a sponsor of the Austrian national team, Saxoprint’s branding will feature on the front and back of playing jerseys and on the goalkeeper’s arm and leg protectors, along with television-visible perimeter advertising.
Saxoprint also takes on the designations of premium partner and official printing partner of the OEHV. Terms for the agreement, which was brokered by the Sportsman Media Group, were not disclosed, but the association said it hopes to lead to a long-term relationship.
Austria’s forthcoming schedule features home matches against Hungary, the USA and Canada on April 8, 28 and 29, while it travels to face Hungary and Slovenia on April 10 and 19.
