NHL’s Maple Leafs net Hankook partnership

NHL ice hockey team Toronto Maple Leafs have reached a sponsorship agreement with the Canadian subsidiary of Korean tyre manufacturer Hankook Tire.

Hankook will benefit from branding space on rink-side boards at all Maple Leafs home games, digital signage within the concourse levels and in-bowl at its Air Canada Centre, on monitors throughout the arena and during in-game contests and fan giveaways.

The terms of the deal between Hankook and Toronto Maple Leafs were not disclosed, although it further strengthens the company’s presence in Canadian ice hockey.

Hankook is currently a sponsor of national governing body Hockey Canada and the Maple Leafs’ NHL counterpart the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, it partners MLB baseball team the Toronto Blue Jays.
