NHL’s Blue Jackets score renewal with Lexus

The Columbus Blue Jackets NHL ice hockey franchise has extended a partnership with Germain Lexus, a local dealership for Japanese automotive manufacturer Lexus.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Lexus will hold the naming rights to the ‘Lexus Lounge’ dining and bar space inside the team’s Nationwide Arena.

Lexus will also have the option to display its vehicles on the main concourse at the venue during all Blue Jackets games, as well as carry out on-ice drives for selected intermissions.

The renewed deal also includes in-arena messaging and broadcast inventory, as well as fan-focused initiatives, such as a road trip sweepstakes.

In addition, Lexus, which began its partnership with the Blue Jackets in 2008, will support the team’s ‘CannonBall’ signature gala event.
