Wealth management company LGT Vestra US has agreed a deal to become an official UK founding partner of the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL American football franchise.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that the deal will be a multi-year partnership.
LGT Vestra US will work with the Jaguars on various, year-round joint business-to-business activities, including the franchise’s annual home game at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Jaguars were the first team to make a multi-year commitment to play in the NFL’s International Series, during which the league hosts a number of regular-season matches outside of the US. The majority of these games have been played at Wembley.
In addition, LGT Vestra US will collaborate with the team on various community outreach projects across London.
Hussain Naqi, senior vice-president, international development for the Jaguars, said: “LGT Vestra US’s support for our community work here in London will be invaluable in allowing us to expand the offering and engage even more children across the capital through this great sport.”
